During the meeting of the members on the occasion of "Rail Road to AIOS" at Kolkta, Dr. Laxmi Shankar Nainwal expressed his willingness to publish a newsletter of IROPA and his proposal was gracefully welcome by all the attending members.

Afterwards Dr. Nainwal has sent an E-Mail with elaborated plan of his thoughts about the newsletter. The letter is self explanatory and being furnished below:

 

As discussed at Kolkota CME. I request u to start a E-newsletter preferably on monthly / quarterly basis.

The suggestions for topics are:
1. Activities of IROPA.
2. Latest scientific / clinical achievements of IROPA members.
3. Railway circulars with interpretation / comments (on ophthalmology matters)
4. Difficult clinical / medical situations.
5. Scientific articles by IROPA members / Luminaries from ophthalmology circles.
6. Studies by IROPA members.

7. Participation of member in AIOS activity.
Initially it may be started only as a E-newsletter which may also be upgraded to printed version if response is good.
I am willing to share any responsibilities in this regard or any field in IROPA as deemed fit by respected seniors.
